Lindsey Dutton’s brand refresh has a special place in my heart. I knew when she reached out and we started to plan her session that I would love it so much! One of the things about herself that she really wanted to incorporate were her two sweet boys, and the fact that she homeschools them. We bonded over the mutual homeschool mama life and I couldn’t wait to incorporate this into her session!

Lindsey is a newborn and family photographer based in Dallas. She provides her clients with bright, organic, and timeless photography, as well as an incredible experience.

We decided a studio location would be best for her brand refresh- so Arc Creative Space it was! (have I mentioned how much I LOVE having my own studio?)

We started off with the kiddo/homeschooling portion of our shotlist so the boys could go with dad to explore downtown Sherman while we did the remainder of the shoot. They were absolutely precious the entire time! We did some couch snuggles (of course), and then Lindsey spread all of their curriculum stuff out on the floor and did a mock lesson with the boys. I LOVE that she incorporated this so much!

After the first portion with the kiddos was done, dad took them to explore downtown Sherman while we kept shooting. Another one of Lindsey’s “must haves” was showing her clients closet (for both mamas and kids!) and the albums she offers to her clients, so we incorporated those as well!

I always suggest to my clients to bring something fun- something you post about frequently that your audience already knows about you and that you could expand on through a blog post, email, etc. Lindsey really likes to read- so she brought some of her current reads along. So fun!

I had the best time photographing Lindsey and cannot wait to continue to watch her business grow and flourish!
