One of the things I love most about brand photography is the opportunity to meet women who wear many hats—figuratively and literally.

That couldn’t be more true for Michelle Castle, who booked a brand mini session at Arc Creative Space, my natural light studio in Sherman, TX, to capture imagery to support her growing, multifaceted businesses.

Michelle Castle is a mortgage lender, a real estate educator, a women’s life coach, a podcast host, and now—an author. Every hat she wears tells part of her story and is a reflection of her vibrant personality and fearless approach to life and business. And if you know Michelle, you know her love of actual hats is just as iconic as her commitment to serving others!

During her brand session, Michelle brought her energy, authenticity, and of course—her signature hats. We used the natural backdrop of the studio space to let her bold style and expressive spirit take center stage. Our goal was to capture images that could serve her across all areas of her brand—from her coaching program and podcast to her real estate and mortgage work—and one image in particular ended up doing something really special.

One of the portraits we created during this session is now featured on the cover of Michelle’s very first book, Living LIT: A Purposeful Journey to Intentional Living. This book reflects the heart of her work as a women’s life coach, encouraging readers to step fully into who they are, live with purpose, and let go of the things holding them back. Seeing one of my photos become the face of that message? That’s a full-circle moment I’ll never forget!

What I admire most about Michelle is how clearly and confidently she shows up in every space she leads. Whether she’s walking a client through the mortgage process or supporting women on one of her Living LIT Women’s Retreats, Michelle leads with clarity, compassion, and boldness.
