As a Dallas Brand photographer, I’m always looking for fresh inspiration- and y’all already KNOW how much I adore the beach! So, when I got the chance to attend The Reset Conference in Panama Beach Florida, I was so excited! One of the highlights was a stunning styled brand session hosted by Emily Kim Photography that left me brimming with new ideas and a camera roll full of sun-drenched photos. Our model was none other than my Pinterest marketing manager Kathryn from Sustainable Strategy Company. (She is INCREDIBLE) so that was really fun!

Coastal Vibes and Perfect Details

The theme was pure crafty vibes- with a tropical twist: think bold colors, bundles of yarn, and a vibrant, beachy feel. Emily planned this session perfectly —every prop, pose, and location was styled to tell a story. From curated flat lays featuring bananagrams, giant pins, and paint supplies, to candid shots of our model laughing with her hair blowing in the beachy wind, everything was perfectly Pinterest-worthy. (See what I did there ha)

We started with flatlays- my favorite! Kathryn took the “bring lots of props” request seriously. She brought SO many amazing props that we got to style to perfection!

Collaborating with Other Photographers

This session was a breath of fresh air—literally and creatively. Watching other photographers style, pose, and create was so much fun! This was my first year at Reset staying for the styled shoots- it did not disappoint. There was a group of us that took turns styling, posing, and shooting, all while we got to learn from one of the best brand photographers I know.
